Time is a fundamental parameter in God's actions. He has defined a time for our birth, a time for us to have a job, a time to enjoy a partner, a time for...

However, in our human nature, our feelings so often lead us to burn with impatience and spiral into excess. Excess through extramarital sex, excess in the exercise of our profession, excess in our reactions to the bad behavior of our spouse, excess in our revolt against the abuses of our political leaders...

Feelings bring happiness to our soul, serve as an alert to potential danger, ... but can also trap us and lead to our destruction if we are not careful.

Inflamed lust, heightened anger, morbid jealousy... these are feelings we would do well to avoid. God is Lord of time and circumstances, and if we stand with Him, He will equip us with patience and, in His time, turn circumstances in our favor.

I offer you no advice other than to place your life in God's hands, to entrust to Him this situation that irritates you, disturbs you, troubles you, and offends you. Trust Him, and remain calm and prudent. Your anger cannot be appeased at any price, and your desire should not be satisfied under any circumstances.

Never forget that God hath made every thing beautiful in his time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Keep in mind what you hope to see or have at the end, long after your personal and temporal satisfaction, long after your own relief! Think about how you would like things to be at the end of your life, for yourself and for others.

May Christ bless you!
Yannick, your friend and brother
